The Long Beach Department of Health offers the free COVID-19 vaccine to everyone including children starting as young as 6 months. 

All individuals under the age of 18 need parental consent in order to receive the COVID-19 vaccination. You can find the consent form here.

The DAYS Long Beach COVID-19 campaign, Essential Measures for a COVID Free Long Beach, is designed to interrupt and reduce the community spread of COVID-19. Recently, DAYS Long Beach secured funding from Together Towards Health, an initiative that creates and amplifies public outreach efforts to reduce the spread of COVID-19. To support the targeted efforts, DAYS Long Beach created virtual community outreach and health education opportunities by telephone and text to provide information, survey and interview residents, and identify gaps in public awareness and public health information. DAYS Long Beach works to enhance COVID-19 public awareness, stop COVID-19 transmission, and educate residents about the benefits of vaccinations. Our goal is to reduce the spread of COVID-19 in vulnerable and highly susceptible populations.
